Supported Operating Systems
RF Code provides eight distributions of CenterScape with each release of the software. The following table describes each distribution.
- Microsoft® Windows Server 2012 R2
- Microsoft® Windows Server 2016
- Microsoft® Windows Server 2019
- Microsoft® Windows Server 2022
- PostgreSQL 11.13 does not support Windows 2022 Server so do not deploy PostgreSQL via the CenterScape installer. Use newer versions of PostgreSQL or SQL Server instead.
- 64-bit Microsoft® Windows 10
- 64-bit commercially available Linux distributions that support JRE/JDK 17
- Red Hat 8 and 9 based 64-bit Linux distributions like Oracle, Rocky Linux, Fedora is supported.
- Other x64 Linux distributions like Ubuntu and Debian may work but are not tested by RFCode. Bugs reported by customers on non-Red Hat based distributions will be recreated only on Red Hat based distributions, however compatibility issues are extremely rare and generally JRE related.
- Non x64 Linux based Linux systems like Power PC or ARM have known incompatibilities in cryptographic libraries and are not supported. They may operate with reduced function, but RFCode will not offer support on these platforms.
- The package “urw-fonts” will need to be installed on any Linux host that is used the RFCode distributed OpenJDK. Without this package certain graphs and dashboards will not function correctly. This package is not needed if using the Oracle JVM
- Support for JRE/JDK 17 is required for any Linux distribution not tested by RF Code.
